Casey A. Barrio Minton, PhD, NCC

Professor of Counselor Education, Interim Department Head

Biography

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Casey has had the opportunity to live in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Texas. She was delighted to join UT in 2015 and begin adventuring in East Tennessee. She lives with her partner (Joel), elementary-aged daughter (Leah), and two sweet pups (Rosie & Sadie). For wellness, Casey enjoys exploring new food and drink, playing board games, taking in nature, and setting personal running goals that seem just out of reach.
