Perhaps for your career as a university faculty member, for trainings within the corporate setting that you will join, or as a K-12 educator? You may have never thought that you would need to be an online teacher, in addition to your current job requirements, but now it seems clear that many professionals will be engaged in online teaching and learning for the foreseeable future. We have the perfect course for you! In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences has designed a new course to prepare educators to deliver effective online learning. The course focuses on four core competencies: how to facilitate online social interactions, personalize learning, attend to attitudes and emotional needs, and create flexible online assessments. At the end of the course, learners will have the skills to design effective online instruction and will have set up an online class and course unit. This course is available to undergraduate and graduate students.
