Job Description

Synthia Clark is the program secretary for Adult Education; Applied Educational Psychology; Adult Learning; Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement; and School Psychology. She works in the main office, runs the EPC website and Facebook page, and does some photography and marketing for the department. 


Biography

Clark is a master’s student with the College of Communication and Information where her research interests include intercultural communication, especially regarding culture shock and reverse culture shock; consistency theories relating cognition, affect, and behavior; and HR effectiveness. She has completed the two customer certificate programs at UT Knoxville – one in Communication and one in Customer Service. Outside of the university, she enjoys photography, playing softball, travel, playing the bass clarinet, and live music.
