Biography

Pauling spent most of her career in support of top executives in the financial industry and held a securities license for that time. She has enjoyed many interests and hobbies over the years: home renovations, landscaping and gardening, camping, hiking, backpacking trips, photography, all fiber arts and handcrafts, jewelry making and cake decorating. Reading a good book by the fire or on a beach is a favorite pastime.

Job Description

Kathi Pauling joined the Counselor Education team of the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences in April 2018. She serves as administrative support for both the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling master’s programs as well as the PhD program in Counselor Education. She provides support for the Grief, Loss, and Trauma Graduate Certificate, KLASS Center, and the EPC department head.

Biography

Since beginning work at the university, Christine has been a dedicated student earning a BA degree in Audiology, and an MS in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology. Additionally she has completed several certificate programs offered by the university, including: the UT Leaders Lighting the Way–Part I supervisory certificate, UT Communication certificate, UT Customer service certificate, Sponsored Projects Accounting certificate and the Diversity in the Workplace Certificate. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and trying out new recipes.

Job Description

Christine has worked at UT since October 2003 and with the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences since November 2007. She provides support for the department’s two online master’s programs, Instructional Technology and Ed Psych Online as well as the PhD programs in Adult Learning and Learning Design and Technology. She serves as the department’s textbook and timetable coordinator, provides support for the CRC and graduate admissions coordinators, and assists faculty with documentation related to sponsored projects, grants and contracts.

Biography

Fraley loves spending time with her family—especially her niece and nephew. Her favorite thing is watching her nephew play baseball and football. She began working on a bachelor’s degree at UT in 1994 and loves to watch UT football. She also likes to hang out with friends, play cards and board games, go out to eat, go to the movies and shopping.

Beverly Fraley works as bookkeeper and support staff for the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling. She handles a myriad of things, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and travel for the departmental account as well as several grant accounts.

Biography

I have been in the office management/administrative field for many years and look forward to many more with my family here at UT. Everyone I work with has been so kind and supportive, and I draw inspiration from the academic environment.

I am also an artist who enjoys oil painting and I am a member of the Tennessee Artist Association. I usually have paintings in my office as well as various shows and galleries around Knoxville.
