Jordan Westcott, PhD

Assistant Professor

Biography

Jordan was born and raised in Oklahoma, and she was excited to join UT in 2023 after a few years in Virginia. Her research focuses on LGBTQIA+ health across the lifespan and how counselors can address systemic barriers for this population. She lives with her partner (Jess) and their gaggle of cats, who bring joy to their daily lives with the kind of chaos only cats can find. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys exploring local food and restaurants, green space, playing board games, reading, and watching really bad TV.
