Casey A. Barrio Minton, PhD, NCC

Professor, Program Coordinator, Associate Department Head

Biography

Originally from Buffalo, New York, I’ve had the opportunity to live in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Texas. I was delighted to join our program in 2015 and begin adventuring in East Tennessee. I live with my partner (Joel), elementary-aged daughter (Leah), and Golden Retriever puppy (Rosie). As a family, we enjoy exploring new food and drink, playing board games, and finding new places. For wellness, I enjoy setting personal running goals that seem just out of reach.
